Rodney Gent, Director
Rodney looks after our talented team of Microsoft specialists. He’s your best point of contact for all things Managed Services. Reach him on:
Rodney Gent has been with TCS since it started and Managing Director for the last 15 years. He has also been Account Director for the provision of IT Services to Local Government for over 30 years. He brings knowledge of the challenges facing institutions including local government, as a result of his experience of 16 years as a Councillor in London Boroughs and the Greater London Council.
Outside work, he chaired the Board of Rose Bruford College, a Higher Education Institution for six years, during which time it grew strongly and despite funding worries, built a new Hall of Residence. For over 20 years, he has been an active fund raiser for the NSPCC.
Graham Armstrong, Director

Before joining TCS, for over 15 years, he specialised in major Business and Organisational Change Projects, using Performance Management techniques to deliver tangible benefits in blue-chip private companies, HM Government, Utilities, Defence and the public sector. Since 1982, he has been a registered Director of five companies, each operating in a different market sector, which culminated in his BI knowledge, enabling him to consult at Board level.
In the community over the last 30 years, he has volunteered to lead, work with and/or assist numerous teams for many good causes at charitable events, raising >£1million for Charities such as Macmillan Cancer Support, Cancer Research UK, Teens 🙂 Unite, The St. James’s Place Foundation, Help for Heroes, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, Help a Capital Child, Harlequins Community and Inner London Schools Rugby League, to name just a few.
Gareth Phillips, General Manager
Since 2013, Gareth has ensured TCS delivers all Projects and Contracts and manages the TCS team to provide the required technical skills and customer service to our Clients. Reach him on:
He oversees all TCS Project and Contract delivery for Business Intelligence and Managed Services, adhering to The Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, where pragmatic. Earlier in his career, Gareth served with distinction as Chief Petty Officer in Her Majesty’s Royal Navy, which enhanced his eye for detail and the structures to deliver. After, he held a number of civilian Technical Field Service and IT management roles, prior to joining TCS, where he managed a major Server Farm upgrade and refresh, Database Administration teams and a significant Business Intelligence Project, whilst becoming Microsoft qualified himself.
